Evacuation drill held at CIDICS facilities
A drill is an exercise and training to know how to act at any emergency, according to the established on the Emergency Plan and Self-protection that should be implemented on the building, in accordance with the established on the section 20 “Emergency Procedures” of the 31/1995 Act of Occupational Risks Preventions and by other specific sectorial regulations of obligatory compliance.
Last Friday, an alarm went off at 11:00 hours as the annual drill of the building. Personnel present at the auditorium had the opportunity to watch a video on biosafety to take the necessary precautions.
Most attendants went out the emergency exits when the alarm went off. All personnel were previously informed of said drill. Some students of the Psychology School (FaPsi) of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León were present. People from the University Civil Protection simulated to control the incident with a fire extinguisher and save the attendants.
Outside of the facilities paramedics with first aid equipment was present. This activity helped to raise awareness of what to do in case of any emergency or danger.
