Center for Research and Development in Health Sciences



This Center was founded on September 29, 2009 by the then Dean of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon, engineer Antonio González (2003 – 2009) and the Governor of the Nuevo León State C. José Natividad González Parás (2003 – 2009).


To perform scientific and technological research to build knowledge applied in the solution of priority health problems to a local, national, and international standard. To merge basic, clinic, and public health research granting a competitive, innovatory, and scientific development in the northeast region of the Mexican Republic.  To bound the development of biotechnological businesses to contribute to the strengthening of a knowledge-based economy.


To become a Research Center established in excellence, adhered to the highest national and international quality standards, upbringing researchers and scientists to generate and promote knowledge, and for technological development and innovation; in line with the demands of globalization and the scope of international collaboration, reassuring the scientific and technological quality of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon.
