Knowledge Management Unit - Volunteering

Here you can find important information on how to volunteer at the Center for Research and Development in Health Sciences (CIDICS). All volunteers are processed through the Knowledge Management Unit, having as:

Objective

To promote the responsible participation of the University community focused on bolster the development of ongoing and future research projects, as well as the respective administrative measures that maintain the different scientific approaches of every area the CIDICS is built upon.

Are you interested in volunteering at this Research Center?

  1. – Visit our [Unidades CIDICS] (CIDICS Units) section on the main page. Explore the different Research Units of the CIDICS.

 

  1. – If you are interested in volunteering in one of the Units, you have to deliver a Volunteering Letter of Intent to our Coordination including the following information:
  • Your full name
  • Your enrollment number, semester or year, major, and School or Institution
  • E-mail and phone number
  • Your CV or academic and job experience
  • Unit or area were you’d like to volunteer (you can state more than one)
  • A brief description of why you’d like to volunteer at said unit(s) or area(s)
  • Include your name and signature at the end

 

  1. – Deliver your Volunteering Letter of Intent to our Coordination in our attention hours (8am to 4pm from Mondays to Fridays).

In 24 hours we will contact you to attend your Volunteering application!

Considerations:

*The capacity or number of Volunteers that may be accepted in one of the Units or Areas is under consideration of the respective Unit Chiefs.

*The Volunteering Letter of Intent must be typed on a computer and signed by the individual concerned, signing with BLUE ink.

Specifications and Requirements

 

  • The period of activity is of a minimum of 6 months to a year with the posibility to renew volunteering.
  • The schedule, frequency, and the activities to undertake are stablished between the Unit Chief and the potential Volunteer.
  • At the end of the activity period, the Volunteer is granted a certificate that supports his/her participation in this Center according to his/her activities.
  • Every member of the University community can be a potential volunteer: students, graduates, teachers, University workers, etc., whose abilities and contributions can be to themselves as well as for this Center, for its personal and professional enhancement.
