Javier Sánchez Treviño
Javier Sánchez Treviño was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, in 1940. He studied at the Plastic Arts Workshop of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, where he also studied at the Architecture School of the same University. Subsequently, he studied sculpture, ceramics, and engravings at the Visual Arts School of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León, the Cultural Unit of the Aguascalientes State and the Cultural Unit Guadalupe Posada.
He has taught art courses at the Israelite Center of Monterrey, as well as in the Pablo Livas School, the Visual Arts School, and the University Cultural Center of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He has taken part actively in a myriad of individual and collective exhibitions in Mexico, Bulgaria, the United States, and Romania.
